Does MCPL loan books to the Kansas City Public Library?

I'm looking for more francis ray novels because I've read all of KCPL's.

Answer

KCPL and MCPL share InterLibrary Loans.  However, it is not done directly.  Both libraries subscribe to the WorldCat Database, and patrons can look for and request titles through the database.  A computer then selects libraries at random to query whether they will loan the book in question.  You can access WorldCat 24/7 from your computer at home, or from your favorite library branch.
