what does "pending' mean when a book is on Hold?
Some books show they are in first position on the Hold list while other pending holds are not.
Answer
Pending simply means the hold has not been finalized. The item may still be checked out to another user, or unavailable for other reasons. When the item hold has been "trapped" or finalized, the designation will change.
