How can you read books from online?

MCPL offers online books through its databases. Though a few are juvenile storybooks, most are Do-It-Yourself and Reference books. Just click on "Online Resources" then scroll down to "Books Online." Choose a topic heading, and select the book you want. You can then read from your computer.
