The "Text Me" prompt in the catalog is primarily for recording book information from the catalog page.
To download an e-book: On our main webpage, select "Books, Movies, Music" from the top banner, then select "Download e-books" from the left hand column. That will take you to the Overdrive Database where you can make your selection and download. The procedure to download depends on which e-reader you use. Be sure to use the help prompts on the Overdrive pages to assist you.
In the event that you have difficulty with the process, please feel free to contact us for assistance, or take your e-reader to your local branch for help. Some of our branches offer "Book a Librarian" services to give patrons up to an hour of time with one of our technology specialists, who will help you become acquainted with the downloading procedures for your e-reader.
